MEET THE OWNEr - Derek l. Madaras

Joining the military just days before the attacks on 9/11, Derek served as an elite Army Ranger while stationed in Savannah, Georgia. After several years and multiple combat deployments overseas as a Ranger, Derek left the service and was ready for a new adventure. Staying in the historical city of Savannah, he started a business of his own, and was soon tackling century old restorations, large commercial build-outs at the famous Drayton Towers and countless unique remodels.

In 2009, Derek relocated to Texas in search of a larger market. Since moving to Dallas, Middle Layne Construction has partnered with, and built for many of the largest home builders in Texas, as well as constructed some of the most popular workout studios, retail spaces, bars, restaurants and office spaces in Dallas. The client list continues to grow as well as the reputation for being knowledgeable, reliable, responsive and most of all professional.
